Emily Martinez Robles found her passion for filmmaking in an ROP classroom at Washington Union. From operating cameras to filming the 2022 Noli Award Ceremony for the Fresno ROP, she discovered what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Now a fourth-year at UC Berkeley, she has directed multiple short films and founded Latines in Film and Television at Berkeley. This is what ROP makes possible.
