Leadership Under Fire (LUF) programs provide chief officers, company officers, and with a comprehensive understanding of human performance, particularly under operational stress in high-risk settings. LUF programs offer a unique departure from traditional training and safety programs – the LUF seminars are not merely a “how to” training course, but rather an educational experience that equips leaders and personnel to think differently about leadership and human performance in high-risk settings. LUF programs explore critical components of human performance in high-risk settings that include psychological and physiological performance under pressure; decision-making and cognitive function in a tactical environment; mental conditioning and responsible stress inoculation; and the psychology of risk and resilience. LUF programs provide leaders with a human-centric philosophy and supporting processes, practices and skills that optimize human performance in high-risk settings.
